Persatuan Warisan Sarawak is all set to spread it's wings to Japan. A cultural entourage of ten dancers and several officials are confirmed to land in Tokyo to showcase Borneo culture and heritage in the land of the rising sun. The dancers are from Sanggar Budaya Miri, winner of Ethnic Dance Contest during Borneo Hornbill Festival 2011.
Besides a tour of Japan, the entourage would also be engaged in several cultural activities which are currently under negotiation with several organizations, local and abroad, specifically in Japan. The association hopes everything will go as planned, benefiting both the entourage and their Japanese counterpart.
